Studio Services

Engineering-Grade
Audio Services

Five core service disciplines designed around technical precision and controlled output. Each one a complete, methodical process.

Professional recording studio environment
01 — Recording

High-Fidelity Capture

Recording at Cleftwave begins with environment. Acoustically treated spaces, calibrated monitoring, and a clean signal path from source to DAW. We track at 96kHz/32-bit, ensuring maximum resolution for downstream processing.

Vocal sessions, instrumental capture, spoken word, foley — all handled with the same level of technical rigour. No compression in the chain at capture stage. Headroom preserved. Phase integrity maintained.

Acoustically treated recording environment
96kHz / 32-bit session format
Vocal, instrumental, and location capture
Clean gain staging — no colouration at source
Multi-channel simultaneous tracking

02 — Production

Structured Sound Development

Production is the architecture of a record. At Cleftwave, we build tracks with intent — arrangement, instrumentation, and sonics considered simultaneously, not retrofitted. Every decision is traceable back to the brief.

Sessions are built to be mix-ready. Organised, labelled, gain-staged, and delivered with full session export and consolidation.

Full arrangement and composition support
Mix-ready session delivery
Structured template and session management
Electronic, acoustic, and hybrid production
Sync and sync-ready production
Audio equipment and synthesis hardware
03 — Sound Design

Custom Audio Creation

Sound design is the process of building audio that doesn't exist yet. Synthesised from scratch, sampled and recontextualised, or processed into something unrecognisable — all built to exact specification.

Used in film, games, interactive media, brand audio, and product sonics. Every designed sound is documented and reproducible.

04 — Mixing & Engineering

Technical Refinement

Mixing is not a creative afterthought — it is the engineering stage where all elements are brought into controlled relationship. Frequency balance, stereo placement, dynamic control, bus processing.

We work from properly gain-staged sessions with full stem access. Mixing delivered in multiple reference formats with revision rounds included.

Frequency and EQ management
Dynamic control and compression
Stereo image and spatial placement
Bus processing and mix bus control
Stem export and reference deliverables
Abstract waveform representing sonic identity
05 — Sonic Identity

Brand-Level Sound Systems

Sonic identity is the systematic application of audio to a brand or entity. Audio logos, UI sounds, ambient brand environments, and sonic guidelines — all built for consistency, recognition, and longevity.

Delivered as a full sonic identity system: documented, version-controlled, and format-ready for all intended platforms.

Audio logo and mnemonic design
UI and interaction sound systems
Sonic guidelines documentation
Ambient and environmental brand audio
Multi-platform format delivery

Restoration & Post-Production

Not every source arrives clean. Noise reduction, click and pop removal, phase correction, spectral repair — surgical processing applied with precision to restore or enhance existing audio without artefacts.

Also covers stem cleanup, dialogue processing, podcast post-production, and broadcast compliance processing to EBU R128 / LUFS standards.

Click, pop, and transient correction
Dialogue and vocal cleanup
EBU R128 / broadcast loudness compliance
